Using Discount Codes When Clothes Shopping

I never thought that I would be someone who would regularly shop online. When I look back on the early days of the Internet, I remember being concerned about a number of issues. In particular, I was worried about using my credit card online.
Although this may now seem like a distant memory, the reality is that I was by no means alone in having such concerns. Retail analysts were seriously worried that fears of credit card fraud and identity theft might hold back the development of Internet shopping.
Things have clearly changed. I’m certainly now happy to shop online and many people clearly share my views on this matter. That’s why the number of products and services being sold in this way are increasing year on year. So what type of products do I tend to buy most frequently?
I certainly like to shop for clothes in this way. There are a number of reasons for this, including the fact that I have access to a much larger range of shops than would be the case if I were to rely upon my local high street.
The biggest advantage of this is that it means that I have access to a wider range of potential purchases. But the advantages do not stop here. I can also compare prices quickly and easily. I’ve become used to using price comparison websites. These quickly enable me to spot some of the very best deals available online.
Such methods have allowed me to make some significant cost savings. Many of us like the idea of picking up a real bargain. Price comparison website is certainly allow me to do just that. But they are not the only way in which I can make savings when shopping for clothes.
I’ve recently become very excited by the idea of using discount codes. These are sometimes also known as discount vouchers, or as a voucher codes. What are they all about? If you’ve not use them before then you may well be wondering exactly that.
These vouchers are offered by retailers in an attempt to attract more customers. They allow consumers to achieve significant discounts when shopping online. The great news is that they are usually provided free of charge. It’s simply a matter of finding them.
Fortunately, there are a number of online directories that list all of the discount codes that are currently being offered by retailers. As you might expect, it is generally free to access such directories. I make a point of doing so before purchasing any clothes online.
Using this combination of price comparison websites and discount code directories allows me to make some sizeable savings.

Wholesale Designer Clothing – What You Need To Know
Howard Brule wrote:
Lots of people desire designer clothing but just can’t afford it. However, by checking out resale stores and tag sales, a few do manage to find lightly used designer gear at a ridiculously low price. There are however, better ways to find wholesale designer clothing and it could even make you some cash!
Let’s face it: finding near perfect wholesale designer jeans or wholesale urban wear in your size, the pattern, color, or design you want in someone’s garage or even a charity shop is pretty unlikely. The trick is finding clothing that is new and has some selection at a wholesale price. Sometimes when we say wholesale designer clothing we really mean wholesale lots of clothing and usually you must buy a whole lot, especially in clearances. And who needs 16 or 84 or 427 of even the most spectacular garment?
Some wonderful news for an individual wishing to purchase items at wholesale cost without being forced to buy in bulk quantities is that if you search the internet for “wholesale designer clothing,” you will find that often even individuals can take advantage of pricing very close to wholesale cost, and there are many sellers who will offer the same wholesale rate without requiring purchases made in bulk.
A shopper can attempt to locate a favored manufacturer of clothing that they are familiar with. They can check on the internet for a homepage. They can also examine listings of retail outfits that offer special bargains. Major retailers also advertise 50% off sales of these manufacturers, typically when seasonal fashions expire. The shopper should also check specialty shops that may carry their favorite label, however, sometimes, these markers are changed.
If you’re willing to take a small risk, you can get that garment of your dreams and make a profit at the same time. You can buy small lots of garments from wholesale designer clothing outlets, including the item you want. Then, you can resell the rest of the lot on an online auction. These make wonderful items to list as “Buy it now”. You can list them at prices much lower than retail but, at the same time, include a small profit for yourself.
You can even co-op with friends, family or co-workers who like some of the same kinds to buy small lots and split the price. This can be combined with auctions to add to the savings. Remember that some wholesale lots may be huge, into the thousands, but designer lots may be much smaller and are often fewer than 10 items or even less. You won’t know unless you look!
You can also dress like filet mignon and look wonderful without spending hefty amounts by using your brains. Be creative and buy the clothes very thoughtfully. Some shoppers are very clever.

Plus Size Clothes: Shopping Big
Jeanette Pollock wrote:
Women in America are larger than in past decades and plus size clothing manufacturers, realizing this, have spent the last five years ramping up their marketing efforts. According to a recent study completed by research firm Mintel, nearly $32 billion was spent on plus size clothing in 2005. The growth in the plus size clothing market in the last five years has exceeded 50 percent.
According to the Centers for Disease Control 62 percent of U.S. women are overweight or suffer from obesity. Research indicates an expected 10 percent plus size clothing market growth in the next decade.
More than half of the respondents in the Mintel study said they buy plus size clothing. The biggest group of plus size clothing providers is online catalog merchants such as Brylane, home of Lane Bryant and Roamans. Local and national retail chains are also starting to jump on the plus size clothing bandwagon as well, with retailers such as Kohl’s and Penny’s expanding their noted label products to include larger sizes.
Plus size clothing fashion and design options are expansive – much more so than a decade or so ago. For many years, women have had to shop from a very limited selection of plus size clothing. Now the styles are more flattering and more diverse, the manufacturer’s distributions are wider and the plus size clothing products are mass merchandised like never before.
Celebrities such as Oprah and Queen Latifah as well as comedian Mo’Nique have championed the acceptability of the plus size clothing industry. In 2005 Mo’nique introduced the first annual plus size beauty pageant, which was televised nationally. It has become clear to these manufacturers that obesity is lucrative, as women with the money to spend on looking fashionable flock to plus size clothing stores, departments and catalogs.

The inside of the shop will not look like your typical thrift store. Hopefully, customers won’t notice much of a difference than shopping at a stylish boutique. I would like people to not feel like they are broke and forced to shop 2nd hand. I want them to be happy to shop at my store.
I would love any suggestions!
